Napoleon 1400CL - Complete installation

This was a complete installation of a Napoleon 1400CL wood stove.  The stove, hearth, and chimney, complete with trim was installed to suit the client's needs.  The client chose a vey nice brick style tile.  The oak trim was custom made in our in-house wood shop.

Custom Hearth

This was another custom built hearth we made.  The previous hearth didn't nearly provide the heat protection this stove required and needed to be replaced.  The wood floor had actually started to lightly char beneath where the stove sat.  A proper hearth with proper R-Value was installed.  The customer chose a green granite style tile.  The surrounding trim is a custom pine trim we made to match the surrounding furniture.

Napoleon Insert

These clients decided to install a Napoleon 1100 Insert to cut down on their heating bills.  A full insulated liner was installed to code.  Some brick work had to be down to lower the fireplace opening to meet up with the cast iron surround chosen.

Coal Stove

A customer purchased a European coal stove and needed it installed.  A full stainless liner of proper grade was installed and then the stove was put in place.  A block off plate seals the fireplace damper area for increased efficiency.  I think it was one of the coldest days of the winter!

Blaze King - King Ultra

These clients purchased a King model and needed a significant amount of work to get it installed.  The old thimble needed to be plugged and a new entry needed to be properly done through a wall into a new location in the chimney.  A proper wall pass through and thimble were used, as well as double wall pipe for clearance reasons.  We also installed a clean-out door on the other side of the wall.  In this photo, the hearth extension still needs to be completed.

Napoleon Insert

This Napoleon 1100 Insert was installed to cut down on the winter heating bills.  It has a full insulated liner all the way up and, from what I understand, made a huge difference in the heating bills.  Always glad to help!

Woodstock Keystone Installation

New Hampshire is one of those great states where when people move they bring their favorite wood stove with them!  These clients wanted their "Keystone" installed in their new home.  A full 7 inch insulated liner was run down the chimney and a matching hearth extension was made to accommodate the stove.  Though wet in the picture, the dyed mortar dried to a color very closely matching the surrounding hearth.  A tight top and block off plate makes this installation very very efficient!
